My mom and I are heading out to rural western Nebraska this September for some wonderful junk goodies! I absolutely can’t wait to find some new items for home decor and craft makeovers. This 300 miles tour will take us to various towns with all their “junk” on display for the masses. You best believe we will be heading out bright and early to lay our claim on the best stuff!

On this day my little bro turns 23…..don’t they just grow up so fast?

Phil and I had a good talk about religion tonight. I’m a believer, I have too many wonderful blessings to count to not believe in something greater than myself. But I also struggle with letting myself completely trust in something I can’t see, feel, touch. Phil is just so sure of his faith that it leave me feeling a little jealous. 

Is there any way the I can believe God created Adam and Eve, dinosaurs roamed the earth, and that meditation and enlightenment can be the road to peace? Oh and I would also like to believe in fairy tales and unicorns. I’m going to need to keep soul searching for the answer to this one…
